Dan founded his own corporation for finance in 1993, which has now evolved into the family run business of Johnson Fort Financial.
He graduated from Trinity Western University in 1992, received his Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Life Underwriter Designations and at once began working in the financial industry in 1993. Throughout the years, Dan has put the wellbeing of his clients and their financial security at the forefront of his business.
Dan is happily married to his lovely wife, Julie, of 28 years and they have three beautiful children, two of whom are married. Away from business, he enjoys tennis, chess, biking, fishing, and quality time with family and friends. Dan's wonder for life and adventure is truly inspiring inside and outside of the office!
Jonah joined the Johnson Fort Financial Team in 2017 and is currently an Advisor and apprenticing to partner. Jonah graduated from Briercrest College and Seminary and Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
Creating meaningful connections to provide exceptional and quality client service is of the utmost importance for Jonah. He believes that these relationships are the backbone of the business' future growth.
He is happily married to his lovely wife, Mikayla, whom he met while studying at Briercrest. Outside of the office, Jonah's passions include physical fitness and volleyball. These passions fuel his belief that, with hard work and tenacity, growth is inevitable, and he demonstrates this daily. Jonah's calm and encouraging demeanor is a great motivator in the office!
Julie is the Johnson Fort Financial Teams HR & Bookkeeping Manager, her main responsibilities are Recruiting, Screening, Interviewing, Staff Liaison, Employee Relations, Payroll, Staff events and everything in between!
Julie loves to cook and entertain for family, friends, staff, and clients. Along with her husband, Dan, she too enjoys outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, or a stroll through Fort Langley.
Julie's favorite part of working with the JFF Team is the flexibility within her many tasks and the interactions with the staff which always brightens their day!
Kaitlin is our wonderful receptionist for the Johnson Fort Financial Team. Her biggest role is making people feel welcomed, whether this be in person, phone, or email.
With a background in Customer Service and volunteering in Greece, combined with her warm friendly character, this is a task that comes naturally to her. Other responsibilities include assisting in administrative needs and ensuring the quality of office cleanliness and protocols for the safety of our clients.
In her free time, she enjoys playing sports, crab fishing, jumping horses and baking. Kaitlin does an amazing job creating a joyful, warm atmosphere in the office daily!
